Renewal Of An Unhurried Day, what a nice little painting, and I get to do a lot of things i love in this painting, I get to do a little chair, I get to paint by the sea, i get to make Mrs Mazursky, who is kind of the iconographic woman for me in my paintings, the renewal of an unhurried day, and I think that is something you have to get to a certain age before you appreciate, a day with nothing to do, my father used to say nowhere to go and all day to get there, the unhurried day and how renewing it is just to be able to do nothing, or do everything but there is no schedule on it, you aren't hurried, you are unhurried. I think this is a very successful painting, a fun painting, her little life that she has got going for her, and I love to bring the inside furniture out onto the beach, it is an idea that appeals to me and appeals to the story of my paintings, Seeking The Renewal Of An Unhurried Day.
