Have Faith That The Way Has Been Made. A by the sea and a Mrs Mazursky picture as well, Mrs Mazursky is a really important element in a long running series of my pieces. I think that the discovery of Mrs Mazursky's form in my paintings really started me on the right road. It's the first time that I ever wrote on a painting and it caused me to develop a more sincere relationship with those who viewed my art. (she made me) more revealing of my self-relationship, a more studied attempt to connect. A realizing that we are all the same, and I am like you and i am expressing myself in this way, and you are expressing yourself in your own way. Now, Mrs Mazursky, she is rowing her little boat out into the sea, doing what she needs to do. Who knows how hard it will be? Who knows the challenges? But, she has faith that the way has been made, that she will go off in the morning in her little boat and come home with a bucket of fish. Even if she doesn't know quite how that is all going to work out, she has faith that it will. Of course, the ultimate faithful experience here on earth is the faith that our children have in us. They never doubt that we are going to come home with supper.
