I Will Carry Moon Beams Home In A Jar, this little teapot is one of my longest running themes, the teapot theme, I started out with my art, showing it in coffee shops and restaurants, the first time I got a coffee shop show I did 24 teapots for it and it was super fun to do, and ever since I have been painting teapots, making them up as I go along, this one, I Will Carry Moon Beams Home In A Jar had a companion teapot called I Think I Would like To Swing On A Star, from the old song. I like this teapot very much, I like the way the little trails of flowers fit together with the scallop shells, I think it really works, and I also like the color combinations that I have going on here, but I like to make my teapots look like if you turn your back they might dance a round a little bit, there was an old cartoon when I was a kid, the perosn was trying to clean up their house, and everytime they turned their back the furniture, the plates, they would all dance around a little bit and get messed back up, and I like that quality in my teapots, this one has little tippy toes on the bottom, I don't know it's a great little painting, i Will Carry Moon Beams Home In a Jar.
